Fishing Tackle : Three Kinds of Bass Fishing Tackle

Fishing TackleIf you love to fish, you know about the kinds of fishing tackle you need to have a successful time. You need harpoons, reels, rods, traps, floats, etc. There is much you need to ensure that you capture the fish.  While most people use a fishing boat, you don’t have to have one. You could fish alongside a riverbank.

You know you need a fishing rod and reel to help you catch and bring the fish in. However, the most important fishing tackle equipment you need is bait and lures.  Among your fishing tackle gear you need, these are most important. Why? Because fish won’t bite if you don’t have the right kind of fishing tackle bait and lure.

Kinds of Fishing Tackle

Before you purchase any kind of fishing tackle, it’s important to determine what kind of fishing you plan on doing. Do you plan to catch catfish?  Maybe you want to catch trout or salmon. Perhaps you want to go fly fishing.

Fly fishing requires the fisherman to standing in or near the river with a fly rod. The fisherman will use the fly rod to emulate a fly’s motions over the water. The fish, you plan to catch, are lured to the line and then caught.

If you plan to do bass fishing, you’ll need bass fishing tackle to ensure that you catch your fish. At what time of the day you plan on going bass fishing, can affect the kind of bass fishing tackle you plan to use.

Bass Fishing Tackle to be used at three separate time of day;

Morning Bass Fishing Tackle – Spinneraits and Buzzbaits.

Do you plan to bass fish in the morning? In that case, you are going to need bass fishing tackle that will churn up the water while it rides along top of it, usually done with mini-propellers. Baits that you can use are spinner and buzz baits. These baits are important because you can bring them in fast. While you reel it in quickly, the bass fish will be attracted to the disturbance, allowing you to catch them. Remember…morning bass fishing tackle should have spinner baits and buzz baits to ensure a good catch.

Midday Bass Fishing Tackle - Crankbait.

Want to take leave of your household and go midday bass fishing? Bass fishing tackle for midday catches will have to float along the bottom inside of the water (as seen in morning bass fishing tackle). Why do you need baits that float along the bottom? Fish, at midday, tend to hide and feed at the river bottom. A good midday bass fishing tackle you can use is a crankbait. How do crankbaits work? They’ll bounce along the floor of the river or lake and move about non-systematically that will get the fishes’ attention. If you want to catch bass fish during midday hours, then use a crankbait to help you out.

Afternoon Bass Fishing Tackle – Assortment of Creatures Including Smaller Fish.

During the afternoon, bass will eat all kinds of creatures so you are not limited to using one or two bass fishing tackle. Instead, you can use plastic fishing tackle of frogs, crawfish, worms, grubs, smaller fish, etc.
